TBS Website

soapbox21After a year and a half of the redesigned website, I have heard some positive comments, but few specific inputs as to what else members would like to see.

Someone suggested that we could have some tasteful ads that would provide some revenue. I had something in the works, but something called the Synagogue Yellow Pages, being developed by the USCJ, might be a better answer for this. There is some discussion about accepting donations, and even dues payments, through the website.

tzedakah

We are required to take more care about the mitzva of tzedaka, the Jewish legal requirement to do rightly with your fellow person — that is, to support him when he is in need.(Deut. 15:7-8)] — than for any other positive mitzva. Maimonides, Mishneh Torah

This blog is managed by the Hebrew School for people sharing opportunities for mitzvot.
